I'm a lucky girl...

About a week ago my dear hubby surprised me with some gorgeous flowers. I forgot to take a pic of the petals while they were still beautiful (they're all droopy now, and not so beautiful) ... but look at the nice lil' card he wrote!

And this was from date night this week... we went down to Coronado Island for some pizza. We got a little crazy w/ the camera on the Crackberry...

I love laughing with my husband... and he makes me laugh a lot.

My Saturday morning ...

It's Saturday morning and I decided to try that new recipe I've been drooling over all week... cheese muffins. Thanks to one of my blog heroes (The Pioneer Woman) we get to have something scrumptious with tonight's dinner... my chili.

Um, do I see that some of the muffins are already missing from the pan?! I can't imagine where those went... hmm....

Jewels from my neighbor's garden...

Aren't these jewels gorgeous?! My neighbor, Bob, left these on our doorstep tonight while we were out having dinner. And when I reached my hand in the bag I could feel the tomatoes were still warm from hanging in the sun on the vine. Too bad I wasn't so full from dinner... I wanted to cut one open and enjoy it!

Yes, they will be gone within a few days... how I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE bold tomatoes.
